This is a style I figured out that will protect my waist length dreadlocks.
Since one of the reasons I wear a scarf is to protect my ends from over
bleaching in the sun, this was nice as an alternative to my normal African
headwrap.
How to Wear a Long Hair Shayla
Place one end of the scarf at the front of your shoulder. The end
of the scarf should reach the length of your hair.
Wrap the scarf around your face just as you would a normal shayla.
Bring the other end of the scarf down. Now pull at both ends to adjust
it to the firmness you like.
