Light skinned women of color with warm complexions should use earthy, natural
colors. You can use pink so long as it is a sort of apricot, but
avoid any bluish toned reds at all. In fact, forget blues at all
unless they are almost green. Even then, use them very sparingly
when you want some real contrast next to a darker green.
Because almond eyes usually come with the territory, take some advice
from Dana Nachshon, an up and coming makeup artist, and base dark eyeliner
with a glitter, metallic, or pearl gold. This will counteract dark
eyeliner's tendency to make the eyes look more "squinty". |
