Lehenga choli is a popular outfit in India. A complete
set has a lehenga, choli, and dupatta (large scarf or sash).
A choli is basically an Indian shirt or top for women. It's not just a shirt though. It serves as both a shirt and a bra. Sometimes it has a closed back with buttons or hooks and eyes. Sometimes it has laces or ties. It's usually worn with a saree or a lehenga, though these days many girls wear them with pants or jeans. A lehenga is a long skirt. It is usually a pleated or gathered circle skirt. Sometimes they are made from saree, as they are easier to wear in some cases, but they're usually made just from regular fabric.
